Even though our focus is on fieldwork in Zambia, having the systems in place to seek funds and administrate them, manage staff, publicise and manage activities on the ground and assist with research is vital. All these things are essential to the running of a successful organisation.

PEPAIDS believes that volunteers can play a vital role in assisting with and capacity building PEPAIDS and SAPEP in many aspects of office systems - from accounting, to publicity and human resource management. Even if you don’t feel that you have practical skills or specialist knowledge that would benefit our fieldwork, you could still make a real difference by contributing to the systems behind the scenes that make our outreach possible.

You could volunteer in Zambia or the UK on a short or long-term basis. If you visit Zambia your placement will enable you to see all our field-work as well as getting stuck into assisting in the office. If you volunteer in the UK, through working with us, you will still gain a fascinating insight into daily life in Zambia and the issues surrounding HIV/AIDS.
