As always, massive thanks to all those who continue to support us. Without you we couldn’t do a thing!
Special thanks go to:
Norman Pedley who organised a wonderful double fundraiser- starting with a model railway exhibition that progressed on to a presentation about his intrepid adventures down the Zambezi River in a canoe! Thanks to Whalley Methodists, who kindly hosted the talk & provided top notch technical support & to all who turned out to support us!
The BIG efforts of year 5 Children & their parents & teachers at Davyhulme Primary School, Manchester, last term! They very kindly had Helen to speak for an assembly and then put on an amazing enterprise fayre! The year fives busied themselves doing all sorts of things- like making posters, cakes & getting prizes for the event which raised over £500 in an hour for our Schools of Good Hope Project! Awesome!
Year 12 students, Sabir Hussain, Jahin Ashrafi, Murad Rahman, Anil Raofi, Isobel McGowan-Hough, James Greenhaigh and their tutor Sue Sheppard, from Parrs Wood High School in Manchester who raised £400 with our Rooney Raffle! Congratulations also to fellow Paul Smith, who won the prize!
