We are lucky enough to have the services of Tom Graham, an architect from the UK, who is helping us as our architectural consultant. Since he arrived he has conducted research into Tonga architectural styles, environmentally sound construction techniques and SAPEP’s need for a resource centre.

In August 2008, Tom will be joined by a small group of volunteers as part of the Kaonga Volunteering Project. These volunteers will help Tom take the work further by producing bricks for the contruction of the centre and building the first structures. Each volunteer has raised significant amounts in support of the project but we still need more to really get the ball rolling…
