The Team
PEPAIDS currently has four trustees with different responsibilities, these are:

Helen Allen, Chairwoman and Founder
Helen is the Chair and Founder of PEPAIDS. Having built up a long list of donors and supporters, Helen acts as the first point of contact for our donors. She also runs our volunteering placements scheme, Kulyaaba.

Mike Allen, Operations and Resources
Mike, Helen’s Husband, manages PEPAIDS’ finances, sets budgets and is responsible for Annual Reporting.

Dr Alex Molassiotis, Research and Development Director
Alex is responsible for developing research projects based on the work of PEPAIDS’ partners. He is also jointly responsible for the HOPE project.

Irene Avis, Care and Support Director
Irene is jointly responsible for the HOPE project.
Currently volunteering for PEPAIDS are:

Jolanthe Bax
Jolanthe manages web and publicity material.

Sasha Kasthuriarachchi
Sasha has been volunteering for PEPAIDS since 2009. She is our Munali Project Manager and will be leading the team in August 2010 in Zambia

Alex Sims
Alex is our Kulyaaba Co-ordinator. He went out to Zambia as a student nurse in 2006 and now helps us send others out on Kulyaaba placements
In the past these volunteers have made inspiring contributions to PEPAIDS:

Michael Singh
Michael has been a consultant for Trusts, Foundations and Statutory Fundraising. He remains keen to assist where he can.

Jack Graham
Jack has made a tremendous contribution to PEPAIDS. As well as taking a six month secondment in Zambia, Jack was instrumental in re-branding PEPAIDS and developing the website. He also played a huge part in the day-to-day running of PEPAIDS between 2006 and 2008.
